Von Glantz has its origins in Silesia, Poland, and with its name meaning ‚shine’ in the Silesian language [glanc], the brand’s aesthetic explores motifs of the darker and brighter moments experienced in life. The pleasures are represented

by the organic, light pieces, while the obstacles come in the form of the spikier, hostile-looking designs. As the brand began

and continues as a personal project for the author, all pieces are hand-sculpted from tin or simply handmade. Each project

is unique and shows craftsmanship and attention to detail. Von Glantz’s jewellery changes its appearance over time, tarnishing and matting naturally. This process is referred to in the brand’s motto „no Glantz lasts forever”, which emphasises that all moments, good or bad, come to an end. No Glantz lasts forever. Nothing stays the same. You change and

the jewellery changes with you, serving as a reminder of the passing of time, of things gained and lost. Von Glantz

is currently based in Warsaw and was created by Martyna Staneczek, a product design graduate from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw.
